About Active Technologies

Active Technologies is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specialising in high-performance signal stimulus solutions such as fast pulse generators, arbitrary waveform generators and pulse pattern generators. Based in Italy, all products are carefully designed and manufactured in-house.

Active Technologies works closely with leading physics and academic research centres, as well as esteemed players in the semiconductor and automotive industries, to provide state-of-the-art signal source solutions tailored to advanced testing requirements. The OEM projects with top players in the test and measurement industry demonstrate the uniqueness and flexibility of the technologies developed.

Founded in 2003 as a start-up from the University of Ferrara, Italy, Active Technologies quickly immersed itself in major EU research efforts, focusing primarily on semiconductor testing and instrument design.
